The Echo Lake Homeowners Association, Morin-Heights was founded around 1940 with the aim of bringing together individuals and families dedicated to the preservation of the natural environment of Echo Lake and its shores.
Echo Lake Owners Association mandate:
Protect the lake and its shores while maintaining the life style and traditions that make it such an exceptional place.
Our mission is based on two principles:
Protect the lake’s body of water and its shores in order to preserve its environment in the most natural state possible.
Maintain Maintain a typical lifestyle, inspired by that of the Laurentians of yesteryear.
The second principle is not just nostalgic. It is essential to the realization of the first because of the values it suggests.
The typical Laurentian way of life advocated by the Association focuses on:
- A strong community spirit;
- An uncompromising respect for nature and wildlife;
- A calm and peaceful environment.

The site summarizes the history of the lake and its traditions through the years. Although we believe to have gathered the most up to date information and are making sure to track any changes, before moving forward with a project, we recommend to visitors that they confirm the information with the relevant organizations.
