The Echo Lake Owners Association of Morin-Heights is a not-for-profit corporation described as a civic and friendly organization. It has been registered (Quebec) since 1996.
To be a member and to obtain a vote at the annual meeting, you must own a property near or on the lake and pay the annual dues. Members meet at a general meeting once a year, usually in May or June. Members elect a six- or seven-person board of directors.
Each year, the Board reports to the general meeting. An Environment Committee is formed by three or four directors.
The annual dues are $125 payable by Interac transfer using email address admin@lacecho.com or cheque to APLÉ or Association des propriétaires du lac Écho, Morin Heights.

Special Contribution for the protection of the environment
The Association invites its members to make a direct contribution to the environmental account. Funds raised in addition to the annual dues are recorded separately and are dedicated to expenses exclusively related to the environmental protection of Echo Lake. A budget and an account of these expenses are presented by the Board of Directors to its members at the annual general meeting.
